We are recruiting experienced Hardware Verification Engineers to join the team in our Sydney Design Centre. This is a challenging, technical role that combines software and hardware engineering skills, and is critical to the success of our products.
You will be involved in every aspect of ASIC verification and your work will include:
- Working with design engineers to specify complex hardware components, and creating verification specifications.
- Implementing verification environments using System Verilog/UVM, formal verification, and a range of other verification tools and methodologies.
- Defining coverage metrics and ensuring that verification meets those targets.
- Extending existing verification environments to improve the quality of testing.
You will use the latest verification methodologies and be supported by verification experts throughout the company.
This is a unique opportunity to gain world-class experience in ASIC development, graphics systems, and vision systems in a well-resourced, technically focussed company.
Skills and Experience
You are a Bachelors or Masters graduate in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar degree, with excellent academic results.
You have at least 2 years of experience in ASIC or FPGA verification, and an in-depth understanding of the role of verification in the development of complex digital systems, and you have significant experience in developing verification environments using SystemVerilog/UVM. You have an analytical approach to your work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy solving problems. You have good software skills, and are fluent in an object-oriented language such as C++ or Java. You have an understanding of digital hardware design, and ideally have developed hardware using HDLs such as VHDL or Verilog, for ASIC or FPGA targets.
These positions are open now for immediate start. You must have the right to work in Australia.
The Sydney Design Centre is located in Chatswood, a transport, retail, and commercial hub a short train ride north of Sydney CBD. We are a growing team in Imagination Technologies, work closely with colleagues around the world, and are supported by the full capabilities of Imagination's global network, compute farm, and well-resourced development environment.
The environment within the team is relaxed, informal and supportive. You will have a high degree of ownership of your work and be given every opportunity to develop your skills and experience.
