Hardware Architect for Graphics

We want you to discover, create and architect PoweVR’s next generation of GPUs for application in the mobile, automotive and set top box markets. You will become part of a dynamic and motivated team of Architects responsible for feature definition, performance and power consumption of the PowerVR GPUs. You will lead and discover the technology which will make tomorrow’s electronic devices smarter and faster.

You will

  • Develop the PowerVR GPU design to meet market requirements for performance, quality, area and efficiency
  • Work with other members of the senior management team to contribute to the definition and specification of PowerVR's GPU products
  • Plan and execute GPU system architecture, including specification and review
  • Participate in customer technical discussions
  • Be exposed to cutting edge EDA tools and advanced silicon processers
  • Develop a stronger understanding and appreciation of hardware design techniques and constraints
  • Evaluate new features and functions required by the latest APIs
  • Liaise with the Research group to assess the practicalities of implementing new architectural ideas
  •  Analyse and improving the efficiency from generation to generation of PowerVRs world class GPUs.

You are a motivated person that can manage schedules and deadlines, a person who is committed and focused on the goal. Somebody who can communicate well with a team and can collaborate and engage a team of talented engineers.

 

You have

  • A good understanding in RTL, VHDL/Verilog
  • Scripting abilities
  • Experience working with Synthesis
  • A strong understanding of ASIC or FPGA
