We are recruiting experienced ASIC engineers to work in our Sydney Design Center, designing and verifying mobile 3D Graphics Processors and Vision Processors.
This is a challenging, hands-on, technical role, where you will be using your engineering skills to build complex and highly optimised systems. You will be involved in every aspect of ASIC development, work with industry experts, and use the latest design and verification tools and methodologies. Your work will include:
- Architecting and specifying digital systems and components.
- Implementing designs using VHDL.
- Using ASIC front-end tools to optimise and validate designs.
- Using advanced verification methodologies to verify designs.
You will have a high degree of ownership of your work, and be supported by graphics and ASIC engineering experts throughout the company.

Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent
You have 5 to 15 years of experience developing digital systems, and you have worked in all aspects of the FPGA or ASIC development flow.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience writing detailed written specifications. You have an excellent understanding of computer architecture and high performance computing systems, and can work at any level from hardware/software interfaces to gate level timing and anywhere in between.
You have extensive, in depth experience with implementing designs in VHDL or Verilog. You have an understanding of the principals of ASIC verification, and you have worked with a range of verification methodologies.
You have experience in C/C++/SystemC and are familiar with scripting languages such as Perl/Python/shell.
